About the event

Our work is held within the apothecary for the full duration of Sense Ability, forming a quiet, grounding presence within the wider project.

Launching on 26 February 2026 at the Crypt Gallery in central London, Sense Ability unfolds over five weeks as a cultural venue, deep-listening and resting space, and apothecary. During the day, the space is freely open as a sanctuary for slowing down and returning to presence. Sound, scent, and taste shape a multisensory environment that supports intentional pausing and gentle attunement.

The apothecary offers herbal brews, tinctures, hydrosols, and seasonal preparations made from locally foraged plants. These offerings invite a sensory relationship with place and plant knowledge, grounding the experience through aroma, warmth, and flavour. A curated selection of teas from Dartmoor Tea Estate and natural soft drinks by independent local producers complement the apothecary, extending the dialogue between land, culture, and care.
