White Reishi or Ling Zhi hast has been used as a dietary supplement for immunity, anti-cancer, digestion, inflammation, and heart health. Traditional medicine refers to it as an aphrodisiac for both men and women, often referred to as the Tree of Life mushroom for its vast benefits. It's nutty earthy taste compliments the chai to create a warming and supportive drink. Hug in a Mug! 

 

Most of our White Reishi Mushrooms are currently foraged. The good news is that we have had results from our first batch of reishi logs inoculated in 2023. We currently have our first few baby reishi emerging on the farm and we are so excited! Like the Birch Polypore, we don't know anyone else growing this strain on logs for micro-commerical production. It's so exciting! 

 

Wild White Reishi, or Artist Conk as it's also commonly known can take years to grow. In both outdoor growing and wild conditions the mushroom is feeding on the woodland tree trunks meaning they have access to active medicinal compounds available to them as well as natural sunlight combined with the stresses and strains of the weather, which become phytonutrients. Commercially produced equivalents in indoor setups can replicate the kind of goodness that can come from producing something in its most natural setting.

White Reishi Water Extraction, Organic Coconut Sugar, Lemon Juice, Ginger, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Cardamon, Star Anise, Cloves

 

Other Ingredients: Wherever we can we work as ethically as we can. We use Organic Coconut sugar, we want to support organic agro-forestry and adore the flavour and micro-nutrients available in coconut sugar which compliments the nutty earthy taste of the medicinal mushroom. All the spice is organic as far as possible. 

 

Once opened, refrigerate and use within one month.
